Mernua, keeper of the queens' pyramids

She keeps the pyramids of the kandakes east of Meroe, and the queens' names, and a very large stick.

Kandake Amanishakheto ruled Meroe, fought the north, and was buried in gold. Not a bad life. Not a bad death.
The cobras are still out there, swallowing things. If you ever lose a ring, you know where to look.
