Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Atet the painter at Medum is having trouble with her geese. (Requires Fowler of the Reeds.)

2. Stage 1

   Atet's spell brought the painted geese of Prince Nefermaat's tomb to life. I should knock down five painted geese in the fields around Medum.

   To do: Kill 5 × Painted gooseUpdated by talking to Atet the painter
3. Stage 2

   The painted geese are dust, and Atet can paint them back. I should tell her.

4. Stage 3

   The sixth goose on the wall was Gengen Wer, the Great Cackler, who laid the egg the sun hatched from. It's in the fields south of Medum. (Boss: it honks, it shoves, and it calls the geese.)

   To do: Kill 1 × Gengen Wer, the Great CacklerUpdated by talking to Atet the painter
5. Stage 4

   The Great Cackler is gone. I should tell Atet.

6. Complete

   Gengen Wer is back on the wall where it belongs, and Atet sewed me a cloak from its down.
