Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Old Iny sits by the harbour at Port Mersa, telling anyone who'll listen about the time he was shipwrecked. Nobody listens. (Requires A Stranger in Men-nefer.)

2. Stage 1

   Iny has begun the tale of his shipwreck, but a sailor's throat gets dry at the exciting part. I should bring him a beer.

3. Stage 2

   Iny told me of the Island of the Ka, and the great serpent who ruled it: the Lord of Punt, with a beard of lapis and scales of gold. Now he wants me to retell the tale to Harbour-master Ankhkhonsu, who sorely needs cheering up.

4. Stage 3

   I told Ankhkhonsu the tale. He wants to know how it ends, and so do I. Back to Old Iny.

5. Complete

   The island sank beneath the waves, just as the serpent foretold, and Iny came home rich, and nobody believed him. Then he showed me a giraffe's tail. I'm still not sure what to believe.
