Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Akaye, the ram-keeper of Kawa, is wringing his hands beside a very sorry-looking ram. (Requires Ropes for the Fourth Cataract and Healing 55.)

2. Stage 1

   The sacred Ram of Amun at Kawa is sick. Akaye wants me to take a look at him: the ram is in the shade by the ram-keeper's house.

3. Stage 2

   The ram coughed up an iron nail stamped with a coiled serpent. Somebody fed Amun's ram iron. I should tell Akaye.

4. Stage 3

   Akaye says the ram needs a remedy: dates, natron and a jug of water, mashed together (Healing 55). I should make one.

5. Stage 4

   I have a remedy for the ram. I should use it on the Ram of Kawa.

6. Stage 5

   The ram swallowed the remedy, glared at me, and recovered out of spite. I should tell Akaye.

7. Complete

   The Ram of Kawa is well again. Akaye taught me to brew his ram's-horn tonic, stronger, for people.
