Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   The Keeper of the Sacred Jackals in Asyut looks worried. (Requires The Standard of Wepwawet, Wayfaring 55, Endurance 40.)

2. Stage 1

   A hyena pack has scattered Wepwawet's sacred jackals. The keeper wants six hyenas dead before the jackals will come home.

   To do: Kill 6 × Striped hyenaUpdated by talking to Keeper of the Sacred Jackals
3. Stage 2

   The hyenas are dealt with, but the god's own black jackal hasn't returned. The keeper thinks it fled to a forgotten shrine in the desert.

   To do: Go to Forgotten shrine
4. Stage 3

   At the forgotten shrine the great black jackal was waiting, as if for me. I should tell the keeper.

5. Complete

   Wepwawet's own jackal has chosen me. The keeper says it will carry me wherever the ways lie open.
