Deserters from the Buhen garrison have turned to robbing caravans. The commander wants five of them dealt with; they camp in the desert east of the fortress.

The deserters are dealt with. The last one swore he'd heard the dead whispering names inside the fortress walls. I should report to Commander Sobekemsaf.

The commander laughed at the whispering walls. Iamu, the Medjay scout who watches the gate, did not. I should hear what he has to say.
