Parehu's gold-washers have come down from the Gold Hills with nothing in their hands but bruises. (Requires Down from the Sky and Warfare 70.)
Stage 1
A black ship came, says Parehu, and men with snakes on their wrists drove his gold-washers out of the Gold Hills of Punt, in the far east of the land. The Coil, here. I should drive them out: six of their reavers and serpent-charmers.
To do: Kill 6 × Coil reaver or Coil serpent-charmerUpdated by talking to Parehu, Chief of Punt
Stage 2
The Coil's men are scattered, but their overseer, Sefet the gold-reeve, still holds the hills, and keeps a tally of every grain they've taken. I should take it from him.
To do: Get Coil gold-tally
Stage 3
I have the Coil's gold-tally. Parehu will want to see where his gold was going. I should bring it to him: use it on him.
To do: Use Coil gold-tally on Parehu, Chief of Punt
Complete
Meryptah read the tally to Parehu: the Coil's gold goes 'for the barque below', where 'the Mouth waits in the dark'. The vizier fled into the Duat, and the Coil is still paying his fare. Parehu made me a friend of his hearth: his own armlets, and the wind that blows to his village.
