Walkthrough
The quest journal, step by step.
- Start
Overseer Penre at Silsila, above the quarry, is short of men and long on excuses. (Requires A Stranger in Men-nefer and Stonework 30.)
- Stage 1
Karnak needs sandstone for a new pylon, and the Silsila Quarry has stopped. Every night the labourers killed in last year's rockfall climb out of the spoil heaps and chase the crews away. Penre wants six skeletal quarrymen put back to rest.
To do: Kill 6 × Skeletal quarrymanUpdated by talking to Overseer Penre - Stage 2
The dead are quiet, for now, but Penre's crews are still too frightened to cut. He wants me to quarry some sandstone myself, in front of them, to shame them back to work.
To do: GetSandstone
- Stage 3
I've cut sandstone at Silsila. I should bring it to Penre.
- Complete
Silsila is cutting again. Penre gave me his quarryman's sling and showed me how the quarry makes its sling stones and stone-cutter's picks.
