Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   I should speak to Hapu the fisherman, who found me in the reeds as a baby.

2. Stage 1

   Hapu gave me a small net. I need to catch a tilapia from the fishing spots around Reedmarsh.

3. Stage 2

   I caught a tilapia. Meryt wants me to cook it in her clay oven and bring it to her.

4. Stage 3

   Meryt says Old Tiye wants to see me. She lives by the shrine on the west of the island; I should pray at the shrine first.

5. Stage 4

   Tiye wants proof I can defend myself. I should kill a scarab beetle on the island's north side and strike one with Heka (Breath of Shu), then return to her.

6. Stage 5

   Tiye read the glyphs on my scarab amulet. Hapu has a letter for Vizier Ptahhotep in Memphis. I should take the reed boat to Memphis and deliver it to the palace.
