Before my heart is weighed I must make the Declaration of Innocence to the Assessors of the Hall. Three of them are waiting for me: Wide-of-Stride, Flame-Embracer and Eater-of-Shades. Each wants the right words. Wrong ones will weigh on my heart.

I have made the Declaration to the Assessors. Now Anubis will weigh my heart against the feather of Ma'at. A heavy heart won't pass: if mine is, offerings at a shrine and good deeds will lighten it.
