- Start
Something is smashing blocks in the Wadi Hammamat quarry by night. Master Bebi has a suspect, and it is very large. (Requires The Gazelle's Stone and Warfare 40.)
- Stage 1
Bebi blames the Unfinished King: a greywacke colossus abandoned in the hills beyond the quarry generations ago, with no face and no name. Since the gazelle's block went to a king, it has been walking. He wants me to ask Prophet Minnefer of Min, in Coptos, how one quiets a statue.
Updated by talking to Master quarryman Bebi - Stage 2
Minnefer says a statue with no name is a ka with no house: it will wander until it is given one, and first it must be broken of its rage. He gave me a blank cartouche to carve its name on. I must defeat the Unfinished King in the hills east of the quarry.
To do: Kill 1 × The Unfinished KingUpdated by talking to Prophet Minnefer - Stage 3
The Unfinished King has fallen to its knees. I should give the blank cartouche to Master Bebi, so he can carve the colossus a name before it gets up again.
To do: UseBlank cartouche on Master quarryman Bebi
- Complete
Bebi carved a name into the colossus's cartouche: mine, more or less. It sits quietly in the hills now, and only rises when it forgets who it is. In thanks, Bebi showed me how to set greywacke into a sky-iron mace.
