Pirutu says the island of Strongyle, a day's sail north, smokes like a kiln, and grey ash fell in his nets last month. He wants someone to ask the Kouretes at the Idaean Cave on Mount Ida what it means.

Dikase says the mountain on Strongyle is where the Bull Beneath breathes out, and that the Kouretes dance so it won't wake. I should take his words back to Pirutu.
