Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Shield-dancers keep watch at the Idaean Cave on Mount Ida. (Requires The Envoy of Keftiu, Warfare 62 and Endurance 60.)

2. Stage 1

   The Kouretes clash their shields at the cave mouth so that nothing outside hears what sleeps inside. Dikase will teach me the dance of the clashing shields: I must dance it with him, step for step, without a mistake (talk to him).

3. Stage 2

   I danced the shields. Now the reason Dikase needed another dancer: the Griffin of Ida, whose screams carry into the cave. It nests on the high north shoulder of the mountain. I must kill it.

4. Stage 3

   The Griffin of Ida is dead. Dikase will want to know.

5. Complete

   Dikase gave me a shield of the Kouretes and taught me their road down the mountain to Knossos.
