Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Nasuy the dyer stands at her vats in Kommos, purple to the elbows. (Requires The Envoy of Keftiu and Handicraft 55.)

2. Stage 1

   Murex purple is the treasure of Kommos, and the murex beds on the shore west of the harbour have been taken over by spiny crabs. Nasuy wants five of them dealt with.

3. Stage 2

   The crabs are thinned out. Now Nasuy wants five murex shells; the crabs hoard them, and the Kommos Exchange sells a few.

4. Stage 3

   Nasuy showed me the secret: crush three murex shells with a jug of water and a hammer into murex dye (Handicraft 55), then steep a linen robe in two pots of it (Handicraft 60). I should dye a robe myself and show it to her.

5. Complete

   I dyed a robe in Keftiu purple, and Nasuy gave me her husband's old murex-diver's trident.
