Walkthrough
The quest journal, step by step.
- Start
Kunisu, the scribe of Phaistos, is turning a clay disc round and round in his hands. (Requires The Envoy of Keftiu, Scribing 60 and Heka 62.)
- Stage 1
The disc is stamped on both faces with signs in a spiral, and no scribe on Keftiu can read it. Kunisu says the same stamps turn up in the old round tombs on the cape west of Phaistos, where the dead don't lie still. I should bring him three stamped sherds.

The sherds match the disc. Kunisu wants a fair copy of everything: a sheet of papyrus and five cakes of red ink.

Kunisu made his copy and still can't read it. He thinks the Kouretes of the Idaean Cave on Mount Ida, who are older than writing, might know the signs. I should show the copy to Dikase (use it on him).

- Stage 4
Dikase couldn't read it either, but he knew the shape at once. I should tell Kunisu.
- Complete
The disc can't be read, but it can be spoken: Kunisu taught me the Spiral of Phaistos.
