Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Mutbaal, a Canaanite archer and priest of the war-god Reshep, is praying very loudly at the Wells of Seti. (Requires The Wells of the Ways, Devotion 55 and Archery 55.)

2. Stage 1

   A fever is running through the garrison, and Mutbaal says it is Reshep's arrows: the Shasu robbed his shrine of its votive arrowheads, and the god is angry. The slingers carried them off into the dunes south of the road.

   To do: Get Votive arrows of ReshepUpdated by talking to Mutbaal, soldier-priest of Reshep
3. Stage 2

   I have the votive arrows. I should give them back to Mutbaal (use them on him).

   To do: Use Votive arrows of Reshep on Mutbaal, soldier-priest of Reshep
4. Stage 3

   Reshep is a hunter as well as a plague. Mutbaal says the god wants the flies off the bitter pools west of Raphia shot down, as an archer would: six pestilent swarms, killed with missiles.

   To do: Kill 6 × Pestilent swarm
5. Stage 4

   The swarms are gone. I should tell Mutbaal at the Wells of Seti.

6. Complete

   The fever has broken. Reshep, Lord of the Arrow, will hear my prayers, and Mutbaal gave me a gazelle crown like the god's.
