Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

  1. Start

Pentaweret, who fought at Kadesh and wrote the poem about it, wants a word that isn't from the poem. (Requires The Horses of Kadesh, Warfare 65 and Endurance 65.)

  2. Stage 1

Pentaweret says the battle of Kadesh is being fought again every night, and the Hittite chariot host is winning. He won't admit it, but he wants the Hittite veteran Halpaziti's help. I should talk to Halpaziti in Kadesh.

  3. Stage 2

Halpaziti says his lord, the Chariot-Lord of Hatti, was never buried: his men still hold the line for him. I should put five of the fallen spearmen of Hatti to rest on the Field of Kadesh.

To do: Kill 5 × Fallen spearman of HattiUpdated by talking to Halpaziti of Hatti
  4. Stage 3

The spearmen carried the standard of the Hittite host into the battle, and still do. Halpaziti wants it back, to bury with his lord.

To do: Get Standard of the Hittite host
  5. Stage 4

I have the standard of the Hittite host. Now its lord must lay down the reins: the Chariot-Lord of Hatti rides on the Field of Kadesh.

To do: Kill 1 × Chariot-Lord of Hatti
  6. Stage 5

The Chariot-Lord is down, and the field is silent. I should tell Halpaziti.

  7. Complete

Halpaziti buried his lord with the standard, and Pentaweret read a verse over him, a new one. Halpaziti gave me his lord's helm.
