Scribe Amenemope, who calls himself a maher, a master of the roads of Canaan, is sitting in the dust in Joppa with no horse and no chariot. (Requires A Stranger in Men-nefer.)
- Stage 1
While Amenemope was 'inspecting a vineyard' in Joppa (with a girl who lives beside it), someone stole his horse and someone else broke his chariot. A horse like his was seen with Zimredda the horse-dealer in Lachish. I should ask there.

Zimredda gave the horse back, under protest. Amenemope's chariot wheel is broken too: Yabninu the wheelwright in Hazor can mend it, if I bring him two acacia logs for spokes.
Updated by talking to Zimredda the horse-dealer - Stage 3
Yabninu mended the wheel. I should take it back to Amenemope in Joppa.
Updated by talking to Yabninu the wheelwright - Complete
Amenemope has his horse, his wheel, and a letter half-written to a rival scribe explaining that none of this happened.
