The Calf of Apis

Requirements

• Complete Born of the Reeds
• 15 Devotion

Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

Apis-keeper Ankhhaf at the Temple of Ptah is searching for the god's next living bull. (Requires Devotion 15.)

2. Stage 1

The old Apis bull has died. A new one is born somewhere: black, with a white triangle on its brow. Ankhhaf suggests the herds around Medum.

To do: Go to MedumUpdated by talking to Apis-keeper Ankhhaf
3. Stage 2

No such calf at Medum, but the herdsmen talk of a black calf that wandered towards Iunu, the city of the sun.

   To do: Go to Iunu
4. Stage 3

I found the black calf at Iunu! It won't come with me. Perhaps it would follow food: a loaf of bread might work.

To do: Use Bread on Black calf
5. Stage 4

The calf follows me now. I should lead it back to Apis-keeper Ankhhaf at the Temple of Ptah.

6. Complete

The new Apis is installed in Memphis, and the god has blessed me: I may ride an Apis bull.
