Stage 1
Figures of raw clay have been climbing out of the pits at night. Iy calls them the half-made men: people Khnum began on his wheel and threw away. I should break 5 of them.

Stage 2
I broke five half-made men. Iy will want to know.
Stage 3
Iy thinks something inside the half-made men is giving them life. I should break more of them until I find whatever isn't clay.

Stage 4
Inside one of the half-made men I found a shard of blue faience, warm as a hand. I should show it to Iy (use it on her).

Stage 5
The shard is from the Great Wheel of Khnum. Iy says something huge in the pits swallowed the rest of the wheel: the Unfinished, Khnum's first try at a man. I should break it. It lurks at the north-east edge of the pits and won't notice me until I strike.
To do: Kill 1 × The Unfinished
Stage 6
The Unfinished has slumped back into the mud it came from. I should tell Iy.
Complete
The clay pits are quiet. Iy fired me a shield in the Unfinished's own heart-clay: Khnum's Ward.
