Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Nakhtsobek in the Temple of Sobek has dark circles under his eyes. (Requires The Crocodile's Earring and Heka 25.)

2. Stage 1

   Someone opened the temple archive at night, and men calling themselves the Silt-Sworn walked off with pages of the oldest hymns to Sobek. They camp on the north shore of the lake. I should recover 3 hymn pages and bring them to Nakhtsobek, and say nothing to the First Prophet.

3. Stage 2

   One of the pages is no hymn of the temple's: it is a hymn to Sobek written backwards, like a curse. Nakhtsobek wants to know if the god knows it. I should show it to Petsuchos (use it on him), from a distance.

4. Stage 3

   Petsuchos slapped the backwards hymn into the pool with his tail. I should tell Nakhtsobek.

5. Complete

   The backwards hymn begs Sobek to swallow the sun and keep it. Nakhtsobek taught me Jaws of Sobek and Gate of Sobek, and asked me to keep my eyes open in Shedet.
