Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Iuwelot, the smith of Bahariya, knows a Meshwesh trick for working sky-iron. (Requires Metalwork 42 and Stonework 20.)

2. Stage 1

   Iuwelot needs five lumps of hematite to temper the sky-iron. There are hematite rocks in Bahariya.

   Updated by talking to Iuwelot the smith
3. Stage 2

   Now Iuwelot wants one bar of sky-iron to show me the trick on. Sky-iron is smelted from meteoric iron and hematite; the beasts of the craters swallow meteoric iron.

4. Stage 3

   Iuwelot showed me the Meshwesh trick: a long slow heat, and quench it in oil. Now I should smith a sky-iron mace myself, at an anvil.

5. Stage 4

   I've smithed a sky-iron mace. I should show it to Iuwelot.

6. Complete

   Iuwelot approved of my mace, gave me a star-iron pickaxe, and showed me how to make sky-iron sling shot.
