Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Sennedjem, a dead stonemason ploughing the Fields of Wernes in the second hour of the night, has stopped ploughing. (Requires Going Forth by Night and Endurance 66.)

2. Stage 1

   No sunlight has passed through Wernes for three nights, and the barley of the blessed is dying. Locust swarms have come up out of the river to eat what's left. Sennedjem wants six of them dealt with.

3. Stage 2

   The swarms are thinner. Sennedjem says the last good barley in Wernes is in their bellies: I should take a sheaf of Wernes from the locusts before they finish it.

   To do: Get Sheaf of Wernes
4. Stage 3

   I have a sheaf of Wernes. Iyneferti, Sennedjem's wife, keeps the granary: I should give it to her.

   To do: Use Sheaf of Wernes on Iyneferti, keeper of the granary
5. Stage 4

   Iyneferti ground the sheaf and baked the first bread of Wernes in three nights, and showed me how. Sennedjem will want to hear it.

6. Complete

   The dead of Wernes have bread again. Iyneferti taught me to bake it and will sell me the flour of the blessed, and Sennedjem told the serpent on the Door of the Fourth Hour my name.
