Walkthrough

The quest journal, step by step.

1. Start

   Idamate keeps goats on the eastern slopes of Mount Ida, and is counting them, and doesn't like the total. (Requires The Envoy of Keftiu and Wayfaring 65.)

2. Stage 1

   Young griffins have been taking kids from Idamate's flock and from the wild goats alike. She wants four of them killed, up on the mountain's north slopes.

   To do: Kill 4 × Young griffinUpdated by talking to Idamate the goatherd
3. Stage 2

   The young griffins are dead. Idamate says Stone-Horn, the old billy of the wild goats, might carry a friend, if the friend brought him an Ida honey cake (baked from flour and an Ida honeycomb, Hearth 60). I should give him one (use it on him).

   To do: Use Ida honey cake on Stone-Horn
4. Stage 3

   Stone-Horn ate the cake, then my sleeve, and then decided I'd do. I should tell Idamate.

5. Complete

   Stone-Horn will carry me. Idamate gave me his halter.

   Updated by talking to Idamate the goatherd
