The Oracle has answered pharaohs and shepherds alike. Mostly shepherds. Pharaohs don't like the answers. When a king asks, the god answers through his barque, carried by eight priests.
Amun, the Hidden One, speaks here through his ram. Some say the ram is only a ram. The ram disagrees.
People cross a hundred miles of desert to ask whether they should marry. The god nearly always says yes. The god is an optimist.
