- Start
Prince Khaemwaset is hiding in the Tomb of Tausret, in his own wrappings. He has a plan, of sorts. (Requires The Prince in Linen, Endurance 42 and Wayfaring 30.)
- Stage 1
Nobody will believe a prince who climbed out of a tomb, unless a god says so. The prince wants the Oracle of Amun at Siwa, far across the Western Desert, to proclaim him; the oracle also keeps the sixth scarab. First I need a guide: Pawer, the caravan-master at Kharga Oasis, west of Thebes.

Pawer will guide no one across the desert while the Coil poisons the wells. He needs three lumps of natron to make them sweet again. Mummies carry natron, and so do tombs.
Updated by talking to Caravan-master Pawer - Stage 3
Pawer's wells are clean. Now the Coil's dune-stalkers, who hunt the caravan road east of Dakhla Oasis, have to go: six of them.
To do: Kill 6 × Coil dune-stalkerUpdated by talking to Caravan-master Pawer - Stage 4
The road is clear as far as Bahariya, but the Sand-Coil has made its nest in the meteorite crater north-west of Bahariya Oasis. Nothing crosses while it lives.
To do: Kill 1 × The Sand-Coil - Stage 5
The Sand-Coil is dead. The road to Siwa is open. I should go on to Siwa Oasis.
To do: Go to Siwa Oasis - Stage 6
I'm in Siwa. Prophet Siamun at the Oracle will put the prince's question to the god, if I bring it written on papyrus: a papyrus sheet and black ink.
- Complete
The Oracle of Amun proclaimed Khaemwaset son of Amun and heir of the Two Lands, and gave me the Ram's Scarab. Amun will answer my prayers now, I've learned the Horns of Amun, and the granite rams at Karnak will let me through to Siwa whenever I like. And the god's barque dipped south: the serpent goes south, to swallow the flood.
